PRODUCT STEWARDSHIP ENSURES PRODUCT SAFETY


Product Stewardship’s task is to understand the risk of hazards and health of a chemical during manufacturing and use stages, and to provide correct safety information and implement necessary protection measures to reduce the adverse impact of chemicals on the environment, health, and safety.

Specialized in dyes and functional chemicals manufacture and application for textiles and leather industry, Color Chemicals Business Unit has profound knowledge of regulations in different countries and international brands on the restrictions of hazardous substances. For over ten years, whenever a new product was developed in the laboratory, samples were given to the Analysis Lab for testing to ensure that the new product complies with the safety requirements of the industry. After mass-production of the new product, we also submit the bulk samples for analysis to confirm if the test result is consistent with the lab scale. If any hazardous substance is found at any stage, the Research and Development team will review all raw materials and every synthesis step to identify the source of the hazardous substance and resolve the problem.
